Green beans when stored properly are fresh for about a little over one year after that they will start breaking down no matter how you store them.
Ask us how to store them if you like just make sure to keep them away from the four deteriorators of all delicious things:
Air, moisture, heat, and light 
A simple mason jar does excellent as long as you keep it in a cupboard in a cool dry place 
Unless you choose to completely vacuum seal your beans, do not keep them in the freezer or fridge as they will collect condensation and deteriorate even more quickly then if not.
